Women’s Golf Opens Season at Williams Spring Invitational

Maggie Monaghan carded the lowest score for the Cardinals.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wesleyan women's golf team competed in the Williams Spring Invitational on Sunday at the Taconic Golf Club and placed fifth overall.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

The Cardinals carded a team score of 401. They were led by Maggie Monaghan who shot a 92.
Williams posted the lowest team score with a 297 followed by Amherst (316), Hamilton (322), and Middlebury (335).
Molly Meyer carded a 97 for Wesleyan while Jessica Moy (105), Sophia Gresalfi (107), and Meg Wiley (115) rounded out the Cardinals' lineup.

UP NEXT:

Day 1 of the NESCAC Championships are scheduled for next Saturday, April 24 in South Hadley, Mass at the Ledges Golf Club hosted by Amherst.
