MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Wesleyan women's golf team competed at the George Phinney Golf Classic hosted by Middlebury College over the weekend and placed ninth out of 12 teams.

Danielle Landis '25 was the top performer of the weekend for the Cardinals as she shot 169 (83-86) for the two-day tournament. Landis' first round 83 was the low-round for Wesleyan in the competition. Jacqueline Neishabouri '25 was right behind Landis with a 171 (84-87) while Milan Yorke '25 fired a first round 84 on her way to a 178 total (84-94) scorecard.

Lily Golfdine '25 shot 190 (97-93) and Maggie Monaghan '24 totaled 204 (95-109) to complete the scorers for Wesleyan on the weekend.

Wesleyan will be back in action next weekend, hosting the first-ever Wesleyan Women's Golf Invitational from the Lyman Orchards Golf Center in Middlefield.
