MIDDLETOWN, CT.- The Wesleyan men's hockey senior defenseman earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors after helping Wesleyan to a 2-0-1 week. The league office made this announcement in their weekly release on Monday afternoon. The Cardinals stand as the only team in Division III hockey to not have a loss in regulation, with their only two losses both coming in overtime.
Jake Lachance '23 has been a key piece in the hot start for the Cardinals, but has upped his play to another level over the past few games. The senior defenseman has now contributed a point in each of his last five games, and 10 points over his last five. Lachance turned it up a notch this week, producing six points in three games to earn the honor of NESCAC Player of the Week. He had a goal and two assists in the 5-3 victory over Bowdoin, tying a career-high with three points. He then had a goal and assist effort in a tie against another NESCAC foe in Colby. He is now tied for the NESCAC lead with 17 points which he has put together in just 12 games.

th at Spurrier-Snyder Rink.
