MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Nicky Johnson '25 and Sam Pohlman '26 of the Wesleyan men's basketball team earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization in late March.

To make the Academic All-District Team, players must be in their sophomore year or above academically, own a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5, and have either started at least 66.7 percent of the team's games or appearance in at least 90 percent.

Johnson is in his junior year majoring in psychology while Pohlman is in his sophomore year and is undecided on his major. This is the first time that both Cardinals have earned Academic All-District honors.
