MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men's squash team suffered their first defeat of the season in a 9-0 loss to No. 24 ranked Bowdoin on Tuesday morning from the Rosenbaum Squash Center. The Cardinals drop to 5-1 while the Polar Bears improve to 4-1 on the season.
Morgan Shatzman '25 and Zach Idinopulos '26 both picked up a game in their respective matches at #6 and #8. Shatzman won the first game 11-9 in his match while Idinopulos earned a 13-11 first game win.
Jack Lungstrum '25 won 24 total points in a tight 11-6, 11-8, 12-10 defeat at #5 while
Dhairya Shah '27 won 23 total points in a 3-0 loss (11-8, 11-9, 11-6) at #2.
Wesleyan is back in action on Saturday with a 12:30 PM start against No. 22 St. Lawrence from the Rosenbaum Squash Center.
