Fitzsimons, hailing from Somers, New York, tore up the Hamilton defense all afternoon long, as the Cardinal signal caller completed 20-of-23 passes for 365 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-14 home win over the Continentals. Fitzsimons completed 13 straight passes during the game while six different Cardinals caught at least one pass. The five passing touchdowns represents the most by a Cardinal quarterback since 2016 while the 365 yards represented his first career 300-yard passing game in what was just his third career start for Wesleyan.

The Cardinals (3-1) are back in action on the road on Saturday with a trip to Colby (2-2) on the docket.
