MEDFORD, MA. – Led by sophomore
Juliette Sullivan, the Wesleyan women's track and field team showed out at the Snowflake Classic, hosted by Tufts University, on Saturday afternoon, finishing the meet 11
th out of 20 teams with eight Top 10 finishes.
Sullivan led the charge, as she did through the indoor season, with a first-place finish on the afternoon. Peaking with a time of a 25.70, Sullivan won the 200m dash. Placing fourth,
Rachel Masterson '26 ran a 27.65. The program record for the 200m is 24.26.
Opening the day however, was
Sophia Mack '26. Placing eighth in the 100m, Mack crossed the finish line at 13.38.
Naomi McGadney '27 placed 10
th in the 400m, clocking in at a 1:06.40. In the 800m,
Ellie Green '28 placed eighth and finished the race with a time of 2:27.65.
A tag-team duo of pole vaulters,
Fiona Carroll '25 and
Mia Kjaer '28 took fifth and sixth respectfully, clearing the same height of 3.10m. Carroll took fifth while Kjaer was awarded sixth. The final field finalist for the Cardinals was
Kate DiTullio '28 in the long jump. DiTullio placed 10
th, reaching a distance of 4.65m.
The Cardinals return to action on Saturday, April 5, when they head to Amherst for the Spring Fling meet.
