MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Eight members of the Wesleyan football team earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon. Making the list is

Jack Bohnsack '27,
Dylan Connors '26,
Matt Fitzsimons '27,
Blake Newcomb '27,
Nick Orphanos '26,
Jack Turner '28, and
Declan Welch '26.
To make the Academic All-District Team, players must be in their sophomore year or above academically, own a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5, and have either started at least 66.7 percent of the team's games or made an appearance in at least 90 percent. Each school is limited to a maximum of eight Academic All-District honorees.
Eligible honorees advance to the Academic All-American ballot and the individuals who make an Academic All-American Team will be announced in a few weeks.
