MIDDLETOWN, CT. – Following a weekend of competition, the Wesleyan men's squash team closed with a 9-0 victory sweep of Fordham University on Sunday afternoon, entering the NESCAC Championship weekend on a high note. Wesleyan advances to 7-8 while Fordham falls to 15-6.

The Cardinals saw a near perfect sweep down the lineup as eight of the nine matches ended in 3-0 victories. Sitting at #7,
Zack Idinopulos '26 ran four rounds with Nathan Martinez after falling to Martinez in game one. Idinopulos rallied three game wins in a row for the 3-1 match victory, tallying 9-11, 11-9, 11-7, 12-10.

Dhairya Shah '27 totaled 11-1, 11-4, 11-7 game wins over Nicholas Gilman.
Arjun Somani '29 campaigned 11-3, 11-6, 11-7 wins over Jack Stanley at #2. Downing Adam Sakr at #3,
Dominic Wilson '29 finished with game wins at 11-2, 11-4, 11-3.
Harrison Tillinghast '29 was taken to task by Tyler Christensen at #4, forcing the third game to extra points as he cleared the win 11-7, 11-8, 12-10.
Zach Lu '29 closed out a 11-6, 11-7, 12-10 finish over John Fones in the #5 slot.
Matthyaz Williams '29 tallied a 11-5, 11-0, 11-7 margin at #6 against Fredrik Schreiber-Wacnik. Seated at #8,
Nimai Kini '26 went 17-15 over Charlie Friedman in game one, snagging 11-2, 11-3 finals after the whirlwind first set. Dropping just six points at #9,
Sumer Singh Ahluwalia '27 defeated Joe Walsh in an 11-3, 11-1, 11-2 finish.
The Cardinals await NESCAC Championship seeding with conference play beginning Saturday, Feb. 14.
