CLERMONT, Fla. – The Wesleyan softball team saw their five-game win streak halted on Saturday as the Cardinals lost both games in a doubleheader at Legends Way in Florida. Wesleyan was defeated 4-0 by Dominican (Illinois) in game one before suffering a 9-4 defeat to Babson in game two.

th, loading the bases with two outs, but
Waverly Smart '27 grounded out to second to end the threat.
Game two featured plenty of hits as Wesleyan and Babson combined for 25 hits and 14 runs. Babson struck first with one run in the 3
rd but Wesleyan followed with a two-run bottom of the 3
rd to take the lead. Lennon lifted a two-run homer out to center to score
Katie Foley '28 from first.
The Beavers had a quick answer, scoring four on four hits in the top of the 4

Babson added one run in the 5
