CAMBRIDGE, MA. – Representing the Wesleyan men's track and field team in the final event leading into the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, Steve Paul '28 competed at the MIT Final Qualifier in the men's 200m, placing within the Top 3.

Topping the competition as the top sprinter in the Cardinals' lineup, Steve Paul ran the 200m on Thursday evening, placing second of 22 runners as he crossed the finish line with a final time of 21.55. Paul holds the school record in event at 21.24, set in 2025 and most recently ran a 21.35 at the NESCAC Championships.

The Cardinals await selection results on Friday, May 15, for the 2026 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships.
