Men's Track & Field Collects All-Region and All-New England Honors

MIDDLETOWN, CT. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and the New England Cross Country and Track & Field Association have announced the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field honorees. The Wesleyan men's track & field team pockets 23 total awards as six runners collect double honors.

HIGHLIGHTS    
  • All-Region awards are permitted to the top 8 participants in each event along with all members of the top 8 relay teams. All-New England distinction is permitted to the top performers in each event from a New England based institution.
  • Steve Paul '28 led all Cardinals with four All-Region honors in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay, and the 4x400m relay. As a member of the 4x400m relay team, Paul also picked up All-New England honors.
  • Reese Connors '29 was a four-time All-Region honoree in the 200m, 400m, 4x100m relay, and the 4x400m relay. Connors earned All-New England honors as a member of the 4x400m relay team.
  • Dylan Cote '28 earned All-Region honors in the 5,000m and the 10,000m while also earning All-New England recognition in the 1500m.
  • Liam Calhoun '26 was an All-Region selection in the 5,000m and earned All-New England in the 1500m. Calhoun won the 1500m at the New England DIII Championships with a 3:58.25.
  • Noah Mahoney '27won the 10,000m at the New England DIII Championships, earning All-New England accolades.
  • The 4x400m relay team of Paul, Connors, Hyatt Hicks'28 and August Doetsch '29 picked up double honors running a 3:16.79 at the New England DIII Championships.
  • The 4x100m relay team of Paul, Connors, Alex Hofmann '29, and Auren Director  '29 cleared All-Region honors with a 41.61 performance at the NESCAC Championships.
  • Several Cardinals picked up individual All-New England honors including Calder Burke '27 (3,000m steeplechase),  Alex Kermath '26 (1500m), Knox Wallask '29 (1500m), and Easy Weissman '28 (5,000m).
  • The 4x800m relay team made of Sam Benham '27, Daniel Manning '28, Ben Taffet '26, and Wallask ran a 7:55.95 at the New England DIII Championships.
