WALTHAM, MA. – The top-ranked Wesleyan University men's soccer team battled Brandeis University to a scoreless draw on Tuesday evening, advancing to 3-0-1 on the season as the team was led by junior goalkeeper
Sam Adiutori at Gordon Field.
Following a contested first half with a 7-4 shot differential in the Judges' favor, the Cardinals rebounded in the final 45, dishing out 12 overall shots with six total on target through 90 minutes. Adiutori  and Gianni Nrecaj each turned in clean sheets, with Adiutori making four saves and Nrecaj recording six.
Yousuf Saeed '27 led the Cardinals with four total shots while
Julian Cauvin '28 knocked two on goal.
The Cardinals return to action Saturday, Sept. 19, when they travel to Bowdoin for a 12:30 p.m. start.
