Scott Bushey - Athletic Operations and Fitness Coordinator
Scott received his Bachelor of Science in sport management and Master of Science in athletic administration from Springfield College in Massachusetts. Prior to this position, he served as the assistant cross country coach here at Wesleyan. In addition to overseeing the adult fitness program, Scott will assist in the operation of Wesleyan's athletic department. Scott brings to this position a wealth of program planning and implementation experience and his deep passion for fitness.

Sue Schade - Total Toning Class, Morning Fitness Conditioning, Drills and Body Weight Exercises for Cardio and Strength, Gentle Yoga/Stretch
Sue has certification in Yogafit 1, 2, seniors, and kids. Sue also has a 500 hour yoga certification, personal trainer certificate, and many other certifications. Sue teaches at Choate Boarding School; Durham, Middlefield, and Wallingford Senior Centers; and Durham Adult Education.

Casey Slaughter - Zumba, Barre, Kickboxing
Casey Slaughter is an ACE certified group fitness instructor who has been teaching for 14 years. She teaches Zumba, Barre, HIIT, and Kickboxing and loves using her passion for fitness to bring joy to her students. Her goal is to have every student leave her class both sweating and smiling.

Melissa Pieciak - Yoga
Years ago Melissa found herself struggling with anxiety, insomnia and chronic neck pain. Fed up with being in a rut Melissa began taking yoga and meditation classes, she was amazed by how good she was feeling, she was sleeping better, was less anxious and her neck pain disappeared. She was hooked and that feeling has been bringing her back to her mat every day. As Melissa continued to practice yoga and meditation she had a deep desire to learn more so she could share all of the healing benefits she experienced with others. Melissa enrolled in a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training through Kripalu School of Yoga followed by certifications in Restorative Yoga, Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga, Ropes and Slings Yoga and Reiki Levels 1, 2, Master, Master of Masters and Master Teacher. In her free time Melissa enjoys traveling, stand up paddle boarding and spending time with her family and friends.
David Ritchie - Martial Arts
David Ritchie began training in the martial arts in 1969 while attending Uconn where he earned his BS in Education/Physical Education and MA in Therapeutic Recreational Services. He was invited by his 1
st Tai Chi teacher to continue his Tai Chi learning in Master Huang Xing Xian's Tai Chi School in Kota Kinabalu East Malaysia. David opened Central Connecticut Tai Chi Ch'uan/Meriden in 1989 and Taught Tai Chi and Chi Kung at Quinnipiac University in the PE and Respiratory Care Depts as well as numerous Corporate settings. The objective is to improve one's overall health and well being by achieving relaxation and stress relief. In practicing Tai Chi you can improve the mind and body connection as well as balance.
