1984 - Kathy Keeler '78 is the only Wesleyan graduate to win an Olympic gold medal, stroking the women's eight crew team to a top finish at the 1984 Olympic Games held in Los Angeles

1986-87 - Allegra Burton '87 has the distinction of becoming Wesleyan's first woman to earn NCAA All-American honors in two sports (cross country, track & field) during the same year.

1994 - Women's Soccer wins Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Championship - Wesleyan's first women's team sport conference champion

1994 - Holly Sorensen '95 (swimming & diving) is the first NCAA individual woman champion in any sport at Wesleyan, winning the 200 butterfly and 500 freestyle titles in 1994 (also won the 500 free in 1995)
