Biography

Danny Banks is from Montclair, New Jersey and attended Montclair High School prior to enrolling at Wesleyan University. Banks was a dual sport athlete at Montclair, 3-year starter for the varsity baseball team and a 2-year starter for the varsity football team. Banks was also the School President in his senior year at MHS. At Wesleyan, he is a 2-year Captain on the football team, a film major and member of the SACLC. Banks has also worked on various film and television jobs for Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Showtime. Banks is a 2-time All-NESCAC cornerback for the Cardinals, was tied for 5th in the nation for interceptions per game among Division III players, earned a spot on the Noontime All-New England team and was a Cliff Harris Award nominee, all in 2021. Regarding his Wesleyan experience, Banks says, “I’ve been blessed to have been able to grow and learn so much as a result of being surrounded by such a remarkable group of men throughout my time here at Wesleyan.”
