Biography

Niko Candido was born and raised in Studio City, California, where he attended Viewpoint High School in Calabasas, CA. At his time at Viewpoint, he was a 3 sport athlete (football, baseball, and basketball) and won all league and MVP his junior and senior year for football, and won all senior team and MVP in baseball his senior year. He also was awarded with the salutatorian award for his graduating class, where he gave a speech at graduation. He then moved on to Kent School where he played all three again, and won athlete of the year award for the school. He is an Economics Major with a Data Analysis Minor, and has huge interest in finance as well. Niko chose Wesleyan because, “He wanted to choose a great community of people who had a great balance of just wanting to have fun but also being successful. He also loves the team atmosphere and the competition within the Cardinals.” Niko cannot wait what else comes to his Wesleyan experience, on and off the field.
