Chase Wilson is from Lake Charles, Louisiana and attended St. Louis Catholic High School prior to his time at Wesleyan University. In High school, Chase was a dual sport athlete, competing on the Football and Baseball teams. His senior year, he was named a football team captain and was one of three seniors who helped lead the baseball team to their first state championship in a decade, and also received the MVP award. He has continued to play both football and baseball at the collegiate level. He is planning on majoring in Economics with a minor in African American Studies. Academics had a major role in Chase’s decision to attend Wesleyan. When asked why he chose Wesleyan he says, “Wesleyan gives me the opportunity to chase my dreams on and off the field. Being surrounded by peers who challenge and push me daily to be the best person I can be is the ultimate reward.”
