Wesleyan University

The 2016-17 season marks Trevor Michelson’s third year as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the men’s crew team. A 2013 graduate of Wesleyan with a B.A. in government, Michelson was a four-year varsity oarsman for the Cardinals. He earned First Team All-NESCAC honors, and was a team co-captain and team MVP during his senior season. Prior to his return to Wesleyan, Michelson spent the 2013-14 season as the men’s freshmen coach and women’s boatman at Fordham University.

As a member of the New York Athletic Club, Michelson, a native of New York City, has won US Rowing Club and Canadian Henley Championships. In addition to coaching, he is continuing to train and pursue his master’s degree at Wesleyan.
