Mike Finoia enters his second season as an assistant on the women's ice hockey team. Finoia is a USA Hockey Level 5 Master Instructor with over 25 years of coaching experience, and recently spent three seasons as Trinity College women's ice hockey assistant coach, where he won a NESCAC Championship with the team in the 2014-15 season. He holds a Connecticut Interscholastic Coaching Certification and has coached girls/womens' teams at the regional and national bound levels. The former coaching director of the Connecticut Polar Bears Organization, Finoia is currently the program director of Connecticut ICE, a summer hockey training program for girls and women. He lives in Wallingford with his wife, Cherie, and two daughters, Brittney, and Christina.
