The Ephs (3-0, 2-0) were led offensively by Pearse Glavin's seven points (3 goals, 4 assists), while Cal Ewanich added six (3g, 3a) and Cory Lund scored five times.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The first half featured back-and-forth action for the majority of play until a 4-0 run by Williams gave the visitors a 9-6 advantage with 5:33 remaining in the second quarter.
  • Jacoby snapped the run at the 4:04 mark when he caught a pass from Matt Chase and rifled his shot into the top right corner. A minute later, Chase fired a low corner shot to the back of the net to cut the deficit to one.
  • However, back-to-back goals gave Williams an 11-8 halftime lead.
  • Glavin scored the first goal of the second half to put the Ephs up by four, but Wesleyan rallied with a 5-0 run to close out the quarter. With 1:21 on the clock, Gallagher found Sexton for a man-up score to give the home team a 13-12 lead entering the fourth quarter.
  • It was a different story in the final 15 minutes, however, as the Ephs scored four unanswered goals en route to the victory.
