MIDDLEBURY, VT- Women's hockey drops their second game in two days to the number one nationally ranked team in the country, 4-1. HIGHLIGHTS:

  • After a turnover in the neutral zone, Cat Appleyard took a centering pass from Maddie Bayard to put through their third goal of the first period. Wesleyan put some pressure on the Panthers defense in the final 12 minutes of the 1st, producing 12 shots but could not score a goal
  • In the 2nd period it was the Cardinals turn to score quickly. Wesleyan stole a pass in front of the Middlebury goal, where Cali Stevens '22 took a shot that was deflected right to Caroline Mezias '25 who cleaned it up for the first goal of the game for the Cards
