Baseball Hangs on Against Hamilton, 13-10

CLINTON, NY- Baseball is able to hang on against their NESCAC rival Hamilton Friday afternoon, 13-10. The teams finished out the final inning of the contest today after the game was suspended due to darkness last night. After jumping out to a sizable 11-0 lead through the first 2 ½ innings, Wesleyan gave up 10 runs over the next four innings shrinking the gap to just 13-10 going into the 7th. Wesleyan pitching was able to get the job done the rest of the way to secure their three-run victory. The Cardinals continue their stellar start to conference play, moving to 5-2 in the NESCAC (14-9 overall). Hamilton drops to 12-11 (4-2 NESCAC), moving into another game against the Cardinals tomorrow April 17th.
