NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – The Wesleyan women's golf team participated in the Hamilton College Invitational over the weekend. The Cardinals placed ninth overall out of 14 teams in the field, shaving 20 strokes off their first round total in the second round on Sunday. Emory won the tournament with Amherst placing second.
Danielle Landis '25 was the top performer for the Cardinals over the weekend, shooting an 84 on Saturday before going sub-80 with a 77 on Sunday to post a +15 (161) for the weekend. Landis finished in a tie for 28
th place overall.
Mia Bardinelli '26 had herself a solid showing in her collegiate debut, posting an 87-84-171 to place 44
th overall. Rounding out the scoring for Wesleyan was
Jacqueline Neishabouri '25 (91-90-181),
Milan Yorke '25 (97-88-185) and
Lily Goldfine '25 (98-94-192).
Playing as an individual,
Chanel Hong '26 was impressive as she carded a 165 (85-80) to sit in a tie for 37
th in the overall player leaderboard.
Wesleyan will play host to the Cardinals' Fall Invitational this weekend as the two-day tournament is set for Saturday and Sunday from Lyman Orchards Jones course.
