CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Wesleyan women's track & field team saw a few participants try to extend their seasons with appearances made at the MIT Final Qualifier in Cambridge.
Maeve Hoffman '23 put herself right on the cusp of qualification for NCAA 800m Championship as the senior ran a season-best time of 2:12.62 to win the event that featured 15 competitors. Hoffman's time ranks 27
th on the performance list for D3 nationals and is searching for her first career appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Stephanie Ager '26 also showed well in the final appearance of her rookie season as the first-year ran the 5000m in a personal-best time of 17:20.81.
Jordan Walter '25 also ran the 800m, pacing Hoffman throughout. The sophomore clocked in at 2:27.48.
Selections for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be made on Friday, May 19 and will be released on NCAA.com.
