WATERFORD, CT. – Preparing for the NESCAC Championships, the Wesleyan men's cross country team took on the Conn. College Invitational on Saturday, placing 23
rd of a field of 34 institutions.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Cardinals garnered the team score in the men's 8k blue race, as they were led by Noah Mahoney '27, placing 35th out of 264 runners. Mahoney crossed the finish line with a time of 24:46.9.
- The next Cardinal to finish was Will Wise '26 at 144, finishing with a clocked time of 26:12.9.
- In the men's 8k white race, the Cardinals placed ninth of 37 teams.
- Alex Lara '27 led the charge with a finish at 54, finishing with a final time of 26:20.6.
- Placing 57th, Evan O'Rourke '26 came in with a 26:25.0 final time.
- Boomer Weisman '29 (26:31.6) placed 62nd, while Coleman Love '28 (26:34.5) closed out the Cardinals in the Top 100 at 67.
The Cardinals return to action on Saturday, Nov. 1, for the NESCAC Championships at Conn. College.
