CANTON, N.Y. - The Wesleyan women's cross country team was put to the test on Saturday afternoon at the 2025 NCAA Mideast Regional Championship, placing eighth of 25 schools as
Chase Cerrell '28 and
Stephanie Ager '26 earned All-Region status.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Top 35 runners receive All-Region honors while the award for All-New England is turned over to the Top 20 runners from New England area institutions.
- Finishing ahead of the Cardinals, Williams took first, followed by Middlebury, Conn., Amherst, Vassar, Coast Guard, and RPI. St. Lawrence and Trinity closed the Top 10.
- Now a two-time double honoree, Chase Cerrell earns All-Region and All-New England honors. Placing 22nd, Cerrell crossed the finish line at 22:40.1.
- For a fourth-straight year, Stephanie Ager earns All-Region and All-New England, placing 24th out of the field while running a 22:43.6.
- Closing out the Top 50, Clare Mahedy '29 finished 40th and ran a 23:05.2 in the women's 6k.
The Cardinals await selection to the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday, Nov. 22.
