MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Wesleyan field hockey senior forward
Georgia Adams '26 was recognized as a Third Team All-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Tuesday morning. This is the first career All-American honor for Adams.
The three-time All-NESCAC honoree is the 13
th All-American in team history and the first Wesleyan forward to earn All-American honors since Jenn Wasserman '05 in 2004. This news also signals the third straight season wherein the Cardinals have had at least one player named All-American as
Imani Ochieng '25 was recognized in 2024 and
Audrey Pace '26 made the list in 2023.

Adams finished the 2025 season with 26 points on nine goals and a career-high eight assists while starting all 21 games, helping lead Wesleyan to a single-season wins record, Little Three title, NESCAC runner-up finish, and trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals. Named to the All-Region First Team and All-NESCAC First Team this season, Adams produced the second-highest career point total in team history, finishing her career with 110 points on 45 goals and 20 assists. Adams also never missed a game, playing in all 70 possible contests with 68 consecutive starts over her four-year career.
