MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan field hockey team placed 11 student-athletes on the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad. In addition,
Georgia Adams '26 and
Brooke Miner '28 were both awarded the NFHCA Scholar of Distinction, given to student-athletes who achieve a grade point average of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year. This is Adams' second straight year winning the award.
To achieve status on the National Academic Squad, each student-athlete must have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester of 2024-25. The Cardinals who made the squad included: Adams,

Wesleyan also collected the 2024 NFHCA National Academic Team Award, as the Cardinals are one of 69 Division III teams to collect the honor. This award is grated to programs with a team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of 2024-25.
