The No. 24 Cardinals did not need much convincing of a comeback effort after sour doubles play placed the Continentals up by one.
Brett Keeling '27 was the first to put away a singles match win at No. 5. Cruising to a 6-1 win in set one, Eerik Aadamsoo put up four in an attempt to force a tiebreak, but Keeling sealed the match with a 6-1, 6-4 final.
Filling the lineup at No. 3,
Max Lustgarten '25 felt a bit of a punch back from Anson Anderson through set two after Lustgarten already had a one set lead. Anderson pushed Lustgarten to a 6-2, 7-5 final.
Chase Kasday '26 featured at No. 6 against Antonio Chavez, pulling out a 6-4, 6-4 win before the Cardinals awaited three-set finishes from No. 1 and No. 2.
Down one after Lleyton Mendieta won set one in a tiebreak,
JT Bilski '26 fought back to tie up the match with a 6-2 set two win. Allowing zero game wins in set three, Bilski clocked a 6-7 (3-7), 6-2, 6-0 defeat of Mendieta. Flipping the script on court two,
Harry Collomb '26 won out set one, going 7-5 before Connor Griff peaked in a tiebreak second set. Running down 10 games on Griff in the final set, Collomb rolled out a final 7-5, 6-7 (7-9), 10-7 win.
