MIDDLETOWN, CT. – After closing the door on the most successful season since 2019, the 9-7 Wesleyan men's tennis team saw three members of the team earn first time All-NESCAC honors, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning, featuring
Max Lustgarten as a Second Team Singles selection and
Harry Collomb and
Max Litton as the Second Team Doubles honorees.
Max Lustgarten '25 | Second Team Singles

Leading the way through the 2025 season as the only member of the senior class, Lustgarten spearheaded the Cardinals with a 12-2 singles record through the regular season and a 14-4 overall record in his final season. This season included an eight-match winning streak from March 9 to March 30 with wins over ranked teams. Earning his first All-NESCAC accolades, Lustgarten concludes his career with a 28-25 singles record.
In the regular season finale against #23 Williams, Lustgarten went head-to-head with Shawn Berdia at No. 2. After finishing the first set with a win, Lustgarten was taken to a third set tiebreaker as Berdia, ranked 45
th in the nation, tied the match up at one. Lustgarten allowed just three points more and took the match with a final score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
Harry Collomb '26 and Max Litton '26 | Second Team Doubles
Standing as the headlining doubles pairing for the Cardinals this season, Collomb and Litton rose the occasion as the No. 1 this year and finished out the 2025 season with a 7-7 overall record and 3-5 conference record. Collomb as an individual ran 8-8 with two doubles partners while Litton recorded a 9-8 stretch with two teammates as well.
While both Collomb and Litton pick up first time conference honors, the pair pocketed wins against several ranked teams this season including #9 Amherst and #23 Williams. During the March 30 matchup against the Mammoths, Collomb and Litton turned out a 6-1 victory over Andreas Sillaste and Spencer Leung to keep the Mammoths from a full doubles sweep.
The biggest test of the season resulted in a win for the Cardinals against the Ephs in the regular season finale. Facing the #23 doubles pairing in Berdia and Nicholas Chen, Collomb and Litton to carve out a win as the No. 1 pairing. Forced to extra games, the duo toppled the competition with a 7-5 win.
