MIDDLETOWN, CT. - As the Wesleyan women's tennis team gears up for their ninth appearance in the NCAA Tournament, they close out New England Small College Athletic Conference play with three members earning All-Conference honors, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning, headlined by First Team Singles selections
Lane Durkin and
Jackie Soloveychik.
Lane Durkin '27 | First Team Singles

Earning all-conference honors for the first time, Durkin has run an undefeated campaign this season as the No. 2 within the Cardinals' lineup through the 2025 season. As the Cardinals prepare for the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, Durkin sits at a 20-0 season record and a 23-1 overall record through the 2024-25 academic year. Teammate
Renna Mohsen-Breen was the last Cardinal to go undefeated into tournament action.
Nationally ranked for the first time at #6, Durkin joins teammate Soloveychik in the Top 10 as a sophomore. Wins for Durkin came against 12 nationally ranked teams and five ranked singles opponents. Sitting at #21, Elsie Van Weiran of Middlebury has suffered losses to Durkin twice this season. In the regular season meeting between the programs, Durkin downed Van Weiran 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (7-2) before toppling the Panther in the NESCAC Finals 6-4, 6-4.
Jackie Soloveychik '27 | First Team Singles

Soloveychik earns her first singles team honors, named to the First Team after earning Second Team Doubles honors in 2024 while also named the 2024 Rookie of the Year. Completing a 15-5 regular season record as the Cardinals ran through the conference tournament, Soloveychik boasts a 25-5 overall record through the academic year.
Entering the 2025 campaign as the top ranked singles player in the nation, Soloveychik now ranks second only to Emory's Emily Kantrovitz. Soloveychik anchored the Cardinals at No. 1 all season, pulling out several wins against fellow nationally recognized opponents. In the March 23 matchup with NYU, Soloveychik took #12 Jimena Menendez to three sets after sitting at a disadvantage after set one, ultimately winning two in a row to beat Menendez 4-6, 6-3, 10-4.
Sarah Youngberg '26 | Second Team Singles

Now a five-time All-NESCAC selection, the veteran of this season's lineup can add two more honors to her collection. Youngberg, the heart and soul of this team, is also a First Team Doubles selection this season and has previously earned Second Team Singles (2022-23), First Team Singles (2023-24), and First Team Doubles (2023-24) honors. Youngberg is currently ranked 35th among singles players in the country.
Collecting a 15-2 overall record, Youngberg dropped matches only to #2 Emory and Washington & Lee. Playing comfortably as the No. 3, Youngberg capped the NESCAC tournament with a semifinal match point to send the Cardinals to the finals for a sixth time. Facing #35 Caroline Stuhlfaut of Bowdoin, the pair were neck and neck at the conclusion of set one. Youngberg dug back from three ties to win by two before skating to the match clinching point. Youngberg's 6-4, 6-0 final rendered the match over.
In the NESCAC finals against Middlebury, Youngberg was mounting a two set comeback and was only one game away from victory as the Panthers clinched the win.
