MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Ten members of the Wesleyan men's basketball team earned 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court accolades, recognizing men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics this past season.
Included on the list of NABC Honors Court recipients are:
Alex Justh '26 (government major),
Fritz Hauser '26 (government),
Jackson Cormier '26 (government and psychology double major),
Jared Langs '25 (economics),
Michael Astorino '26 (psychology),
Nicky Johnson '25 (psychology),
Philip Park '25 (economics and psychology),
Sam Pohlman '26 (economics), and
Shane Regan '25 (psychology).
In order to be named to the Honors Court, individuals had to be in at least their junior year, had to possess a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or better, had to be at their current institutions for at least one year and had to be a member of an NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
In addition to the individual awards, Wesleyan earned the NABC's Team Academic Excellence Award for maintaining a collective grade-point average of 3.0 or better throughout the academic year.
