MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Junior libero Elliana Moreno of the Wesleyan volleyball team earned NESCAC Player of the Week award, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is Moreno's first career Player of the Week honor.

She started with 18 digs and a career-high 13 assists as the Cardinals pulled out a thrilling four-set win over Colby on Friday night in Silloway Gym. Moreno followed with a season-high 21 digs, a personal record in a three-set match, to go along with a career-high four service aces in a dominant 3-0 sweep of Bowdoin on Saturday afternoon.
