Men’s Swimming & Diving Swept in Saturday Tri-Meet

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men's swimming & diving team was swept at home in a tri-meet on Saturday against Wheaton and Bridgeport. Exact scores cannot be confirmed at the time of this release, but the Cardinals did suffer a pair of defeats, falling to 0-8 on the season.

  • Wesleyan had runner-up finishers in three events on the day with Daniel Isman '26 factoring on two of those finishes.
  • Tomas Gonzalez '27 competed in the 200 free and took second place with a time of 1:44.07.
  • Isman landed his first of two runner-up finishes, taking second place in the 200 IM at 2:02.89 before taking second place in the 200 breast with a time of 2:13.47.
  • Jeremiah Tomioka '29 competed in the 500 free and took third place at 4:58.01.
The Cardinals are back in action at home next Saturday with a dual meet against Colby at 1 PM.
