Tomas Gonzalez '29 and
Jeremiah Tomioka '29 each placed first in one event on Saturday, but the Cardinals dropped a 205-82 loss to Babson in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon inside the Webster Family Natatorium. The Cardinals are 0-5 on the season while the Beavers improve to 6-1.
RESULTS
- Tomioka impressed in the 1000 free, taking first place with a time of 10:31.26, which was 23+ seconds faster than Babson's top competitor. Will Harmon '29 was runner-up in the 1000 free (10:50.23).
- Gonzalez claimed a win in the 50 fly with a season-best time of 23.76 seconds while he was runner-up in the 200 fly (2:01.72).
- Zach Zee '29 placed third in the 50 back (26.06) and 50 fly (25.13).
- Chris Winalski '29 was runner-up in the 50 breast (27.76), Evan Byun '29 placed second in the 50 free (22.73), Tomioka placed third in the 100 free (51.26) and 200 free (1:52.80), Daniel Isman '26 finished runner-up in the 200 breast (2:16.03) and 200 IM (2:07.42), and Ben White '29 was third-best in the 500 free (5:17),
The Cardinals are back in action on Thursday, January 15 with a trip to Trinity for a dual meet at 4 PM.
