SPRINGFIELD, MA. -  Competing at the Springfield College Triangle Classic, the Wesleyan men's track and field team posted time times over the weekend with several first-place finishes in the final preparations for the New England Division III Championships.

RESULTS

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Leading off for the men in the 600m race, August Doetsch '29 was the top runner with a first-place finish as he crossed the finish line at 1:24.42. Following closely behind in fifth place, Alex Hofmann '29 finished with a 1:25.71 final.
• The Cardinals had a strong finish in the 800 with Knox Wallask '29 leading the way in first place, running a 2:37.56. Cullen McCleary '29 placed third at 2:39.12 and Tate Celebi '29 finished fourth with a time of 2:39.45.
• In the men's mile, Bruce Lenes '26 was the first runner over the line as he clocked in with a 4:22.90. Ben McKinney '27 finished with a 4:26.63 final in fourth place.
• Placing seventh in the 60m dash, Steve Paul '28 ran a 1:24.42.
• Neil Bulchandani '28, Auren Director '29, Hyatt Hicks '28 and Logan Vargas '29 placed fifth as the 4x400m relay team for the Cardinals, finishing with a combined 3:43.51.
• Throwing 15.35m in the weight throw, Elias Warner '28 placed fifth.

The New England Division III Championships will run Sunday, March 1.
