BIRMINGHAM, AL. – Representing the Wesleyan men's track and field team at the NCAA Division III Championships, Steve Paul placed 18^th in the 200m on Friday afternoon at the Birmingham Crossplex center.

RESULTS

As one of the first Cardinals in recent memory to compete at the national indoor championship, Paul's presence as a sophomore was built as a dominating force for the Cardinals in the sprint events. Paul placed 19^th overall in the 200m, running a 22.04 as part of the second preliminary heat.

Paul is the owner of the indoor school record for the 200m with a 21.45.

The Cardinals open the outdoor portion of the season on Saturday, March 21, when they host the J. Elmer Swanson Spring Classic.
