MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan women's ice hockey team saw 12 members earn American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA)/Krampade All-American Scholar honors, as announced by the association on Wednesday.
To receive recognition, the player much have achieved a minimum 3.75 grade point average for each semester and had to appear in at least 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Programs are also required to be members of the AHCA for recognition. In total, 444 women's players from the Division II and III ranks were honored. Wesleyan's 12 honorees are the most of any NESCAC program and tied for the fifth-most overall in Div. III.
