MIDDLETOWN, CT — Wesleyan University men's cross country runner
Dylan Cote '28 has been named the Division III National Male Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), following his first-place finish at the Little Three Championship.
The national weekly honor is the first for the Wesleyan men's program since the honor was first awarded in 2013 and the first of Cote's career as he picks up the first DIII recognition of the season.
Cote led the Cardinals' men's program to Little Three Championship title, the first since 1984, and captured the individual title with a final time of 18:16.8.
The Cardinals host the Cardinal Invitational on Saturday, Sept 19 beginning at 12 p.m.
