Achievements while at Wes:
Ivie was the President of Foster Care Project which provides mentoring and tutoring to students who are in foster care in CT. She served as a Clinical Researcher at the Community Health Center in Middletown. On campus Ivie spent time as a Residential Advisor, Senior Interviewer, WesMASS Teaching Assistant. Executive board member for Minority Association of PreMedical Students and SACLC. She was also the recipient of the 2020 Cledeninn Prize which recognizes an African American student who has achieved academic excellence in biology/molecular biology and biochemistry.

"I joined the Yale Department of Emergency Medicine as a clinical research associate. I work specifically with geriatric patients and conduct research focused on identifying and developing patient and caregiver reported outcome measures to improve clinical outcomes."
Ivie also wrote the script for our Student-Athlete of Color Leadership Council's "The Battle is Worth It" video.
