MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan women's squash team ran through the competition in a home round robin over the weekend, defeating Haverford and Mount Holyoke in 9-0 sweeps before a 7-2 win over Denison on Saturday night. The Cardinals (5-5) are now winners of five straight matches and move back to .500 on the season.

Leandra Sze '26 – all went 3-0 in their respective matches over the weekend, while
Julissa Mota '26 also went undefeated at 2-0.
Wesleyan 9, Haverford 0 | Results
In a largely one-sided match, the Cardinals finished off 3-0 sweeps in less than 10 minutes at #7, #8, and #9 with wins coming from James, Sze, and Mota, respectively. Dichter and Kewalramani completed their 3-0 sweeps soon after to secure the match victory for Wesleyan.
The only match that went beyond three sets came at #1 with
Avika Pande '26 battling back from two sets down against Ariana Solecki to win 10-12, 13-15, 11-9, 11-9, 11-8 and seal the 9-0 sweep for the Cardinals.
Wesleyan 9, Mount Holyoke 0 | Results
Wesleyan took care of business in short order, finishing off Mount Holyoke in just 20 minutes as the Cardinals landed 3-0 sweeps on all nine courts. Mota dropped just one point for the second straight match while Sze dropped just three points, and Anana lost just four. Only two matches took more than 15 minutes to finish as
Mira Bakshi '26 won her match at #2 over Xaria Durocher (11-7, 11-7, 11-2) and Pande finished off Habiba Abouelatta at #1 in a 11-4, 11-7, 11-7 triumph.
Wesleyan 7, Denison 2 | Results
After receiving a forfeit win at #9, Wesleyan needed wins on just four courts to secure the match, and the Cardinals did just that with 3-0 sweeps coming from #5 through #8 in the lineup. Kewalramani, Dichter, James, and Sze all won in 15 minutes or less to secure the match for the Cardinals. Anand won at #3 a few minutes later before Pliam finished off a 3-1 win at #4 over Lindsey Cruikshank (11-5, 9-11, 11-3, 11-7).
The Cardinals look to prolong their win streak with a home match on Friday against Cornell at 3:30 PM.
