Wesleyan's 2V8 and 3V8 boats capture wins

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The No. 10 ranked Wesleyan women's crew team put together a great day of racing, earning two first place finishes out of three races on Saturday at the 54th annual Little Three Championship hosted by Williams from Onota Lake. In the varsity 8 race, Williams earned back the Elizabeth Neal Trophy as the Ephs managed a time of 7:30.3 which was 2.9 seconds faster than Wesleyan's 7:33.2.

The final race of the morning saw the Cardinals' 3rd varsity 8 boat take on the 3rd and 4th varsity 8's from Williams. Benefitting from a strong start, the Cardinals never looked back and won with a time of 8:01.8 compared to 8:11.5 for the Ephs' 3rd varsity 8 and 8:45.9 for the 4th varsity 8 boat.
