STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Wesleyan men's track & field team took part in the Fastrack National Invite on Friday afternoon from the Ocean Breeze Complex.
George Lepska '25 turned in the highest finish of the day from the track events, placing 14
th out of 104 in the 800m, as he finished the event in 1:56.50.
Alex Geula '25 hit a new personal-best time in the event at 1:59.43, finishing 26
th overall.
Ben Taffet '26 was right behind in 29
th place at 1:59.62.
Nate Fogarty '25 impressed in the one mile, registering a new personal-best time in the event at 4:18.02, good enough for 21
st place out of 107.
Alex Kermath '26 ran the mile in 4:20.08, placing 25
th, while
Rob D'Aquila '26 also landed a personal-best at 4:22.08 which earned him 31
st place.
Carlo Fedolfi '27 led the Cardinals in both sprint events, finishing the 60m in 7.35 seconds (64
th out of 122 in the event) while he clocked in at 23.24 seconds in the 200m (61
st out of 121).
Anish Visht '24 posted a new season-high mark of 3.75m in the pole vault, giving him 14
th place in the event.
Rami Hayes-Messinger '26 threw 13.84m in the weight throw, good enough for 15
th place out of 47, while he posted 12.13m in the shot put.
Wesleyan returns to action next Saturday at the Wheaton Invite in Norton, Massachusetts.
