WATERVILLE, Me. – The Wesleyan women's swimming & diving team completed day 3 action at the 2025 NESCAC Championships, hosted by Colby College. The Cardinals sit in 11
th place in the standings with 331 team points.
The night started with the 200 medley relay where the Cardinals' A team of
Mia Dezelic '27,
Sara Bohacek '26,
Izzy Paez '26, and
Zoe Kuhn '26 showed well with a ninth place finish and time of 1:45.38. Wesleyan's B group of
Jacqueline Constantine '28,
Clara Preisig '25,
Ilaria Valentini '25, and
Kate Briegel '25 also performed well in the B heat, finishing sixth out of 11 teams with a time of 1:48.01.
The highest individual finisher on the day was Dezelic in the 100 back, as the sophomore qualified for the B final where she placed fourth in that heat, good enough for 12
th place overall with a time of 57.25 seconds.
Olivia Stevenson '25 turned in another solid performance at the Championships, finishing 13
th in the 1000 free as she clocked in at 10:39.66. She later placed 20
th in the 200 free with a time of 1:55.93.
The 100 fly saw Paez win the C final, touching the wall in 57.27 seconds, taking 17
th place overall in the event.
Bohacek qualified for the B final of the 100 breast and placed seventh in that heat with a time of 1:06.29, finishing in 15
th place overall. Preisig made it into the C final of the 100 breast where she finished in 21
st place overall with a time of 1:07.68.
Ella Hall '28 again led the Cardinals' divers, placing 13
th in the 3-meter dive with a score of 325.35.
Prior to the start of the evening session, every senior class member from all 11 teams were honored. From Wesleyan, that senior class included Briegel, Preisig, Stevenson, Valentini,

Wesleyan closes out the season with one more day of action on Sunday at the NESCAC Championships.
