MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men's crew team saw
Paul Kiyonaga '25 listed on the All-NESCAC Second Team, as announced by the league office on Friday morning. This is Kiyonaga's second career All-NESCAC Second Team selection, as he earned the same honor as a sophomore in 2022-23.
Kiyonaga has been a member of the varsity 8 boat all season and has helped stroke for the Cardinals who recently qualified for the IRA D3 National Championship for the third straight season. The Cardinals' top boat started the spring season with a win in a dual meet with Coast Guard, then followed with a first place finish at WPI's Class of 2003 Cup. Wesleyan's V8 was the runner-up at the New England Championships then most-recently took sixth place in a loaded field at the National Invitational Rowing Championship.

The defending National Champion Cardinals look to repeat at the end of May at the IRA National Championships hosted at the Cooper River in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.
