MIDDLETOWN, CT. - The Wesleyan men's track and field team hosted the program's third indoor invitational of the season on Saturday, executing several first-place finishes as they competed against 10 institutions inside the Bacon Field House.
RESULTS
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Headlining the 60m dash, Steve Paul '28 crossed the finish line in first place with a clocked time of 6.97.
- The men's mile saw Easy Weissman '28 top the competition, placing first as he ran a 4:31.27.
- In the 600m, the Cardinals placed two in the Top 3 with August Doetsch '29 taking first with a 1:25.17 while Alex Hoffman '29 placed third at 1:26.32.
- The Cardinals' 4x800m relay team of Doetsch, Weissman, Alex Lara '27, and Daniel Manning '28 finished ahead of their peers in first place, combining for a time of 8:21.12.
- Reece Connors '29 ran a final time 23.18 in the 200m, placing third.
- Throwing 16.02m, Rami Hayes-Messinger '26 placed fourth in the weight throw.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, Jan. 30, for the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University beginning at 4 p.m.
