Jack Impronto Completes Level 3 High-Performance Coach Certification Course

USRowing announced a list of 15 coaches who have completed the most recent Level 3 High-Performance Coach Certification Course and one of the 15 names is Wesleyan men's crew assistant coach Jack Impronto.

Impronto has been an assistant coach with the men's crew program at Wesleyan since 2023, entering his third season in the 2025-26 campaign. In his first year, Impronto contributed to the program's first-ever undefeated season for the varsity 8 boat, culminating in the team's first National Championship, defeating Williams by 0.207 seconds in the IRA D3 National Championship race.

He was nominated for the IRCA D3 Staff of the Year in 2024, followed by another nomination in 2025 after directly coaching an undefeated season for the 3rd varsity 8 crew and an NIRA Championship in the same season.

Impronto began his coaching career while volunteering with the novice program at Glastonbury High School in Connecticut. During his junior year of college, he returned to Glastonbury High officially as an assistant coach and later served as Head Coach for the boys' team during the 2022-23 season. From 2022-24, Impronto served as an assistant coach for the USRowing U19 Pathways Development Camps and in the summer of 2025, as Lead Coach.

He rowed for Glastonbury High School in his time as a student and continued at Trinity in Hartford throughout his undergraduate years where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He continued rowing post-collegiately with Riverfront Recapture in Hartford.
