MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan field hockey team placed 19 student-athletes on the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad. In addition,

Sarah Gorman '27,
Meera Patel '29, and
Marley Procopio '29 were all awarded the NFHCA Scholar of Distinction, given to student-athletes who achieve a grade point average of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year. This is Adams' third straight year winning the award.
To achieve status on the National Academic Squad, each student-athlete must have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester of 2025-26. The Cardinals who made the squad included: Adams,

Wesleyan also collected the 2025 NFHCA National Academic Team Award, as the Cardinals are one of 78 Division III teams to collect the honor. This award is grated to programs with a team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of 2025-26.
