Men’s Track & Field Pockets All-Region and All-New England Honors

MIDDLETOWN, CT. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and the New England Cross Country and Track & Field Association have announced the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field honorees. The Wesleyan men's track & field team pockets 18 total awards as seven runners collect double honors.

HIGHLIGHTS    
  • All-Region awards are permitted to the top 8 participants in each event along with all members of the top 8 relay teams. All-New England distinction is permitted to the top performers in each event from a New England based institution.
  • Steve Paul '28, a national qualifier in the men's indoor 200m, led all Cardinals with double All-Region and All-New England honors in the 60m dash, 200m, and as a member of the 4x400m relay team. Paul holds the school records in the 60m (6.84) and the 200m (21.35).
  • Paul, Jack Park '29, Reese Connors '29, and Alex Hoffman '29 all earned All-Region and All-New England as the record setting 4x400m relay team, recording a program best 3:20.25 at the New England DIII Indoor Championship.
  • The 4x800m relay team consisting of Alex Kermath '26, August Doetsch '29, Liam Calhoun '26, and Bruce Lenes '26 ran a school record 7:48.22 at the New England Indoor Championship, earning All-New England honors.
  • Distance medley relay members Kermath, Calhoun, Doetsch, and Connors ran a combined school record time of 10:04.12 for double honors.
  • Rami Hayes-Messinger '26 earned All-Region honors as the school record holder in the weight throw with a distance of 16.98m.
  • Elias Warner '28 snagged All-Region recognition in the indoor weight throw.
  • Noah Mahoney '27 performance in the 3,000m picked up All-New England accolades.
The Cardinals begin outdoor action on Saturday, March 21.
